Water Reservoir Construction, Village of Harrison Hot Springs
The new 720,000 gallon (2,700,000 litre) capacity facility replaces the original Village of Harrison Hot Springs concrete reservoir located at the same site. The project was completed in Dec 2009 and it comprised the removal of more than 5,000m3 of rock by blasting and mechanical breaking, Construction of a fused steel-glass Reservoir Tank, Construction of 10m high concrete stairs, rock bolting, 220m twin water main installation, pumps and electrical work in order to get the facility operational.
