Andres Murillo graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from Saint Thomas University in Bogota, Columbia in 1997. He then worked for four years as construction manager with Colombian state owned companies and private firms in road construction and water and sewage distribution. In 2003 Andres completed a Bachelor Degree in Construction Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, joining a constin Chilliwack as Construction Manager in June 2003. In 2005 he joined Emil Anderson Construction Inc. as Project Engineer/Quality Control for a highway improvement project at Garcia Lake. In October 2005, Andres joined TIMBRO CONTRACTING LTD. as a full partner with Cornell and Richard Timmers, and fills the role of Estimator and Project Manager. Richard Timmers began his career in construction as a heavy equipment operator with Jake’s Contracting Ltd. in 1998, later moving on to act as supervisor for many road, water, sanitation and commercial site servicing projects. In 2003 he and his brother Cornell formed TIMBRO CONTRACTING where he now serves as Foreman and Equipment Manager for all projects.
Cornell Timmers, Secretary and Superintendent
Cornell Timmers worked for Jake’s Contracting Ltd. as a Foreman and Project Superintendent in road and water main construction and site preparation from 1998 to 2003. Later that year, he and his brother Richard, who also worked for Jakes Contracting Ltd. as a Supervisor and Equipment Operator, joined forces to form TIMBRO CONTRACTING LTD. Cornell is now Superintendent for all TIMBRO projects ensuring efficient day- to-day operations as well as liaison with inspectors, foreman and project manager.
